My name is Tanya, the studio owner and creator of the Cosmic Cathedrals Artwork that you see pictured. I've always enjoyed all types of art, music, and anything that involves originality and creativity. I began working with paint techniques as an aircraft painter while serving in the U.S. Air Force in the late 80's. I learned quite a bit about the composition of paint and the various ways it can be used. I began experimenting with Glow in the Dark paint in the early 1990's as a means for emergency egress markings...
Sometimes accidents result in the coolest ideas....
When I shut off the lights one night, I caught a glimpse of a drop cloth covered with glow in the dark droplets which led to a very interesting hobby creating glow in the dark star murals.
I have installed star murals in homes, RV's, bed and breakfasts, and even church nurseries over the years. Murals that I painted over 10 years ago are still burning brightly today!. In home mural installations are still available in some areas.
My focus today is in creating paintings that can be shipped all over the world. I pack a cosmic amount of night sky into a poster sized, hand painted star mural that can be placed on a bedroom ceiling or wall. The materials that I use are transparent and very durable. I guarantee my artwork 100%!
