My name is Tanya, the owner of Cosmic Cathedrals art studios.

I've always enjoyed and been fascinated by the starry night sky because I know that it was lovingly created by God Almighty. He chose the exact number of stars, planets and other celestial objects, and placed them each in a very specific place, for a specific reason.

He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Psalms 147:4

Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name. Jeremiah 31:35

I truly believe that our universe is the result of the hand of God. It was planned from beginning to end. Although beautiful and awe inspiring, I realize that the stars are not to be worshipped, nor looked to as a forecast of things to come. In gazing at the night sky I offer praise to the Creator for what He has done.

The full purpose for the night sky, the placement of the stars and constellations, galaxies and planets, is far too complex for me to ever understand in my lifetime....However, I do appreciate what God has done for me and enjoy night sky art as a form of praise to my God for what he has created, and also as an expression of thanksgiving for His greatest gift of Jesus, for the sake of salvation.
